Congratulations are in order for Brooklyn rapper Lola Brooke! After having a breakout year in 2022, she is continuing her string of success by announcing on Monday that she has officially signed with Arista Records in collaboration with Team Eighty Productions.

Arista Records President and C.E.O. David Massey commented on the signing, saying, "Lola is the rare talent whose presence matches her message. Her music is larger-than-life, but her vision is just as powerful. We're excited to welcome her to the Arista Records family."

Kendell "Sav" Freeman, Arista VP/Co-Head of Urban Music, adds, "From the moment I saw and heard Lola Brooke, I knew it was imperative that I sign her.

He adds, "She's an elite rapper and a born performer with an undeniable vision. Lola has an amazing work ethic, her music is phenomenal, and her personality is unmatched. I'm excited for everyone to witness her path to greatness in 2023!"

The Bed-Stuy native had a massive year, riding the wave of her viral hit "Don't Play With It," featuring fellow New Yorker Billy B. The single recently landed on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. She followed that up with songs like "Dummy Ummy," "Gator Season," "On My Mind," and the recently released "Here I Come."

The 4'9" artist has also shown she's a force to be reckoned with on the stage, pulling up at Future's sold-out show at Barclays Center in her hometown. Before that, she made headlines for an appearance at an event with A Boogie wit da Hoodie. In both cases, she ran out onto the stage full of energy to screaming crowds.

Lola Brooke may be small, but she is fierce and her presence is enormous. If what she has already accomplished is any indication of where she's going, the sky's the limit.
