Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock was fatally shot while eating at a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Monday. He was 30.

TMZ reports that the “Selfish” rapper was at the restaurant with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang. Sources told the outlet that the suspect seemed to target PnB Rock for a robbery. The suspect did not shoot or assault any of the other patrons.

Sibounheuang had posted a photo of her meal on Instagram Story before the shooting. She posted the picture with a location tag attached. On Tuesday, Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore said that the post likely led the suspect right to the rapper.

The rapper was approached by a person who demanded his jewelry and more. The person pulled a gun and reportedly shot PnB Rock several times. The shooter fled the scene in a getaway car.

Video of the aftermath of the shooting hit the internet shortly after the rapper was shot. PnB Rock, real name Rakim Hasheem Allen, can be seen lying on the floor in a pool of blood. PnB Rock appears to still be alive in the footage, fighting for his life. We won’t be posting the graphic video.

PnB Rock was taken to an area hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made, but it’s believed that there is surveillance footage from inside the restaurant that could help aid in a police investigation.

The rapper had been living in L.A. since he signed a deal with Atlantic Records in 2015. He put out two albums, Catch These Vibes and TrapStar Turnt PopStar. He had just released his first independent track, titled “Luv Me Again,” earlier this month.

RIP to PnB Rock. Prayers to his family and friends from everyone at In the Field Radio.
